Welcome to the Bloomfield School District Behavioral Health and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) site. Bloomfield Schools recognizes the need for behavioral health resources and services within San Juan County and is dedicated to helping parents and students navigate the often difficult process of requesting help. We employ social workers at every school campus and have school counselors at the high school.  The district also employs a Behavioral Health Coordinator who oversees all things behavioral health and SEL. The Behavioral Health Coordinator is a licensed school counselor, school behavioral health counselor and licensed independent clinical counselor through the state of New Mexico. She has worked in adolescent mental health in a variety of settings for the last 10 years and is dedicated to advocating for students and ensuring students receive the help they need when in crisis.
