GRADUATE PROFILE

The Graduate Profile addresses the question: What are knowledge, skills, and attitudes that a high school graduate needs to succeed in college, career, and life? Bloomfield School District is currently working on a Graduate Profile to inform and guide students, family, faculty, administrators, and the community.

Timeline: Development of Graduate Profile

July 29, 2025:  Apply for assistance from Advance CTE and NM Public Education Department.

August 3-7, 2025: Initial consultation with Advance CTE. Identify core team Composition. Contact consultant about contracting out work.

August 10-31, 2025: Initial consultation with consultant. Team will attend workshops and trainings held by Advance CTE. Research regional Graduate Profiles and confer with local schools.

September 2025: Determine requirements and resources. Identify stakeholders; develop plan; create surveys and plan focus groups. Contact stakeholders. Assemble core team from key stakeholders.   

November 2025: Conduct interviews and focus groups with stakeholders. 

January 2026: Utilize interview and focus group input to develop written versions for 3 to 5 Graduate Profiles. Obtain graphic designer.

February 2026: Design 2 to 3 draft versions of the Graduate Profile. Confer with NMPED and Advance CTE to ensure compliance with NMPED directives and HB 171. Hire print shop.

March 2026: Choose, finalize, and print out 2 to 3 versions of Graduate Profile. 

April 2026: Present 2 to 3 versions of Graduate Profile to School Board for Approval.

May 2026: Publish and disseminate the Graduate Profile.
